What Types Are Available?

Leather briefcases are by far the strongest. They are available in different shapes and in various different types. If you’re confused on what briefcase will suit your requirements then here are some outstanding types with their usage, so that it will be easier for you to select a good briefcase.

The most commonly used briefcases are, executive or classic, shoulder or strapped, under the arm briefcases, satchel or mailbag briefcases, backpack briefcases and notebook briefcases. Each briefcase is designed for a particular use.

Basically these briefcases are provided with external pockets to ease the hassle of opening the briefcase and then getting started. They are also provided with extra partitions to the excess storage of papers, and catalogs etc.

These are similar to bags and are mostly used for traveling purpose. They have a strap that goes over the shoulder for carrying it. The only disadvantage in a shoulder briefcase is you are limited to carry the whole load on one shoulder.

Backpacks are briefcases which are used to carry laptops and also files and documents. Picnic backpacks are also available in the market which will be looked at in more detail towards the end of this site. Backpacks usually have flip covers with Velcro. They are also provided with pockets on the external side which can be used to put notes or papers that are often used.

These briefcases are especially designed to carry all stationary items. These briefcases are commonly used by school and college students.
